براساس آرای اعلام شده علی لاریجانی رئیس مجلس شد.

به گزارش صنعت نویس، در دور دوم رقابت بر سر کرسی ریاست مجلس دهم برای سال سوم در نهایت این  علی لاریجانی بود که توانست در رقابت با  عارف آرای بیشتری را کسب کرده و رئیس مجلس شود.از ۲۷۹ رای ماخوذه، عارف ۱۲۳ رای و لاریجانی ۱۴۷ رای کسب کردند.۹ رای نیز باطله اعلام شد.

علی لاریجانی امروز برای چهاردهمین بار در مجموع انتخابات هیات رئیسه دائم و موقت مجالس هشتم تا دهم، نامزد پست ریاست شد اما نتوانست یک ضرب ریاستش را در این دور تمدید کند.

در دور اول رقابت بر سر کرسی ریاست مجلس عارف با ۱۱۴ رای، لاریجانی ۱۰۱ رای و حاجی بابایی با ۵۴ رای هیچکدام حائز اکثریت آرا برای تکیه بر صندلی ریاست نشده بودند. در ادامه رقابت حاجی بابایی به نفع لاریجانی انصراف داد و رقابت بین دو کاندیدای باقیمانده برگزار شد.
